Lechon Paksiw Recipe

  • 1.5 lbs lechon, sliced
  • half cup liver spread
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • half cup vinegar
  • half cup bread crumbs
  • pinch of salt
  • dash of black pepper
  • 2 tsp brown sugar
  • 2 cups pork broth
  • 1 tsp cornstarch
  • 1 tsp garlic powder or 2 cloves garlic, chopped

  1. Bring the pork broth to boil. Add the rest of the ingredients and simmer for 2 minutes while stirring occasionally.
  2. Dissolve the cornstarch in 3-4 tbsp of warm water and add to the sauce.
  3. You can add as much sugar and salt depending on how sweet or salty you want your sauce to be.
  4. Pour the sauce over the sliced lechon.
