Easy Pork Sinigang Recipe

  • 1/4 kg pork belly cut into cubes
  • 1 pc of onion quartered
  • 1 large tomato quartered
  • 1/2 tbsp of salt
  • 1/2 tbsp of pepper
  • 5 cups of water
  • 1 Eggplant cut diagonally
  • 3 Cups of Kangkong (Water Spinach)
  • 2 Pcs. Of Siling Mahaba (Finger Peppers)
  • 1 Packet of Knorr Sinigang Mix
Easy Pork Sinigang Recipe

  1. In a large pot, pour in together the pork, onions, tomatoes, siling mahaba, salt and pepper and bring them to boil.
  2. When meat is already tender, add the tamarind seasoning powder or the knorr sinigang mix and simmer for 5 minutes on medium fire.
  3. Add the eggplant and put the fire into low for 2 mins.
  4. Turn off fire and add the kangkong. leave for 2 minutes and serve.
