Left Over Pork Fried Rice Recipe


INGREDIENTS:

  • 1 small container left over white rice from an Asian restaurant
  • 6 oz  cooked pork diced  (leftovers from making pork stock, you can use chicken or beef too)
  • 1 small onion
  • 1/2 jalapeno pepper (sliced thin)
  • 1 tbs sesame oil
  • 2 tbs sweet chili sauce
  • 1 clove of garlic
  • 1 tbs fish sauce
  • 2 tbs soy sauce
  • 2 tsp grated ginger
  • 2 tsp rice wine vinegar

INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. In a pan heat sesame oil on medium to high heat.
  2. In the hot pan add onions, pork, garlic and jalapeno pepper. Cook for 2-3 minutes.
  3. Add rice. (you will need to break the rice down as it will be a hard brick when you take it out of the container). Cook for 2-3 minutes.
  4. Add chili sauce, fish sauce, soy sauce and rice wine vinegar. You can add just about any meat or vegetable you want to this dish.
